With Hope's outstanding 117, Keacy Carty's 71, and Sherfane Rutherford's 54 taking them to 328 for 6, West Indies hoped for a strong defence. This set England the daunting task of achieving the second-highest ODI run-chase ever in the Caribbean.

But with this victory, England took Livingstone's masterly knock to set up a great decider at Barbados, with the series wide open.

Left-arm spinner Gudakesh Motie who had impressed in the opening ODI by 4 for 41 managed his worst figures of the entire tournament as he fell for a brutal onslaught that would come at the hand of Livingstone, which put him under such hammer that he could concede a bad 14 and 16 consecutively in four straight overs.

Jayden Seales also suffered at the hands of Livingstone, who hit 26 runs off one over, while debutant Shamar Joseph was dispatched for 24. No bowler was spared as Livingstone launched a blistering attack, smashing nine sixes among his 14 boundaries.
