Kevin De Bruyne joined Napoli to add more trophies to his vast collection, as he laid out his hopes for a bright future with the Italian giants.
De Bruyne completed a transfer to Napoli earlier this week, with the Belgian leaving Manchester City upon the expiration of his contract.
The 33-year-old spent 10 trophy-laden years with City, winning six Premier League titles.
De Bruyne scored 108 goals and provided 170 assists across 422 appearances for City in all competitions.
His 118 Premier League assists ranks second in the competition's history, behind Ryan Giggs (162).
De Bruyne elected to join Napoli over a move to the Chicago Fire in MLS, while he was also reportedly of interest to Saudi Arabian teams. However, with Napoli having won the Serie A title for the second time in the space of three seasons in 2024-25, the playmaker is targeting more trophies in the coming years.
Speaking to Napoli's media channels, he said: "I'm a winner, I want to win games. I바카라™ve always been like this, I hate losing.
"The team won the Scudetto last year, so they are in the Champions League. I'm hopeful that we can create something good for the future together.
"The team wants to win, they are ambitious, it looks like a really good team put together, so for me it was a really nice project to come into and hopefully I can help the team get their ambitions through."
Key to Napoli's success in 2024-25 was Romelu Lukaku, who scored 14 league goals and led Serie A for assists (10).
And De Bruyne is looking forward to a reunion with his international team-mate.
He added: "I've known Romelu since I was 13 years old. He spoke a lot of good words about the team, the city, so I am excited to do good things together.
"I'm excited, it is something that is very new for me, I lived in England for 10 years, but I think it is going to be a nice experience for me, for my family, and I'm looking forward to it."
