Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurated the second edition of the Khelo India Para Games on Thursday, praising para-athletes for their resilience. Over 1,300 athletes will compete until March 27, including notable figures like Paris Paralympics gold medalist archer Harvinder Singh and high jumper Praveen Kumar. The event kicked off with the torch handover from Paris medalists Simran Sharma, Nitesh Kumar, and Preethi Pal. Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Virendra Kumar was also present. Mandaviya highlighted India's success at the Paris Paralympics, where the country won 29 medals, including seven golds.
