At the ongoing Khelo India Beach Games (KIBG) 2025 in Diu, the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) has set up an anti-doping awareness centre with the objective of promoting clean sports among the young participants. Led by Dr Usha Subhash Nikumbh, the Lead Dope Control Officer (LDCO) at NADA, the awareness centres have been set up along the Ghoghla Beach, where the inaugural KIBG is being held.

The educational drive, which has been set up with the help of several volunteers, visited all the sporting events on Friday, 23 May, and distributed bilingual pamphlets on the dos and don바카라ts that athletes must be aware of.

With more than a thousand athletes attending the KIBG, NADA has been able to reach a large section of young players with this drive.

The outreach program was set up in 2018, and covers topics such as the importance of accurate whereabouts information, discouraging the use of supplements, and the responsibilities that athletes and coaches have in preventing doping.

The avoidance of supplements is explained, as many products do not list whether they contain banned substances, which may invite trouble for the athletes consuming them. NADA encouraged the athletes to rely on natural products and hydrate regularly.

The pamphlets also encourage athletes to call out acts of doping among their peers, saying that it바카라s a 바카라collective responsibility바카라 to prevent such acts. The drive also aims to educate the parents of athletes, asking them to educate their children about anti-doping rule violations (ADRV) as well as calling out any such instances.

NADA recently held this event at the Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG) 2025 in Bihar. 바카라Since we have started this program, there is better awareness among athletes than before and fewer cases of breach too,바카라 Dr Nikumbh said.

On the sporting side, the inaugural KIBG has been a success, with six medal events being hosted in beach soccer, beach volleyball, beach sepak takraw, beach kabaddi, pencak silat, and open water swimming. Alongside this, mallakhamb and tug of war have also been selected as non-medal events for this year.
