It marked Fritz's first title on the ATP Tour since he triumphed in Eastbourne last year.
The 27-year-old has now reeled off five straight wins against Zverev, who he holds an 8-5 career record against.
"I'm tired of you, I don't want to see you over the next two or three years 바카라“ stay away from me," Zverev joked after losing a third grass-court title of his career.
World number three Zverev lost all four of his meetings with Fritz in 2024, with that run including a match at the Laver Cup.Â
Fritz, meanwhile, will move back into the top four of the ATP rankings when they are published on Monday.
"It was not so great a clay season, so to come here and start the grass season off perfectly, I am super happy to get the title and to do it here," said Fritz, who did not drop a set throughout his campaign.
