World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka is set to meet No. 2 Coco Gauff in a blockbuster women바카라™s singles final at the French Open 2025 on Saturday, 7 June, with both top seeds vying for their first-ever Roland-Garros title. Sabalenka and Gauff are tied 5-5 in head-to-head records, but the Belarusian won their most recent encounter in the Madrid final last month.
Sabalenka has been riding a wave of terrific form at Paris, having ended Iga Swiatek바카라™s 26-match Roland Garros winning streak in a gripping three-set semi-final. This has propelled her to her first French Open final, following Grand Slam titles at the Australian Open (2023, 2024) and US Open (2024).
Meanwhile, Gauff is making her French Open final return three years after losing the 2022 clash against Swiatek. The 21-year-old American has dropped just one set in the tournament so far, against Madison Keys in the quarter-finals and defeated French wildcard Lois Boisson 6-1, 6-2 in the semi-finals.
This is the first time that the two top seeds are meeting in a Grand Slam title match since Australian Open 2018, and the first in Paris since 2013. Both players are on the cusp of history, which should make for a terrific clay-court singles contest.
