Coco Gauff ended Lois Boisson's hopes of French Open glory to tee up a final showdown with world number one Aryna Sabalenka.
Gauff, who was beaten in the 2022 Roland-Garros final by Iga Swiatek, was up against a partisan crowd on Court Philippe-Chatrier as home favourite Boisson looked to become the first wildcard to reach the women's singles final in Paris.
However, the 2023 US Open champion was able to suck the energy out of Boisson's supporters with a complete performance, winning 6-1 6-2 in 72 minutes.
Boisson struggled with Gauff's cross-court movement and baseline accuracy from the off, with the French favourite twice striking the net to give up a break in the very first game.
Gauff showed wonderful shot-making as she stretched her advantage to a double break, though she was forced to save three break points in a marathon game before holding to make it 4-0 in the opening set.
A pair of big serves helped Boisson get on the board in the next game, but a tremendous backhand to the left sideline helped Gauff break once again and take the opening set in 37 minutes.
Boisson did manage to hold serve early in the second set, but the Frenchwoman squandered break point in game three 바카라“ which featured one gruelling 23-shot rally 바카라“ and Gauff punished her in the next game, breaking with a passing shot to the right.
Boisson showed great fight to recover that break immediately, but her accuracy was out on serve as Gauff swiftly restored her advantage, ultimately seeing the contest out with little fuss.
Gauff will now face Sabalenka in a re-run of last month's Madrid Open final, which the Belarusian won 6-3 7-6 (7-3).
