Actress Kiara Advani, who is expecting her first child with Sidharth Malhotra, managed to turn heads at the 2025 Met Gala. Known for her impeccable sense of style, the mom-to-be flaunted her baby bump as she donned an exquisite outfit by Indian designer Gaurav Gupta.
She perfectly embodied Met Gala 2025 dress code: 'Tailored for You', and theme 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style'.
What Kiara Advani wore for Met Gala 2025
Kiara Advani made her Met Gala debut this year. She wore a dramatic black strapless gown with a sculptural gold breastplate embellished with ghungroos and crystals.
The breastplate was more than a fashion statement. It symbolised the journey of motherhood. The dress, named 'Bravehearts,' featured two sculpted hearts, which symbolized 'Mother Heart' and 'Baby Heart'- both connected by a golden chain which represented the umbilical cord.
She kept her makeup minimal with nude lip shade and eyeshadow. For the hair, she opted to keep it open with soft curls.
Kiara's look was also a nod to the legendary fashion editor and Black icon, late André Leon Talley. She paid homage to him through the dramatic double-panelled cape.
Speaking about her Met Gala debut, Kiara Advani shares, "Making my Met Gala debut at this point in my life, as both an artist and mother-to-be feels incredibly special.
