Following Ram Kapoor's comments about the intimate scenes in Ekta Kapoor's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, there were reports of their rumoured fallout. In a recent interview, Ram addressed the entire face-off between him and Ekta.

Ram Kapoor on his alleged fallout with Ekta Kapoor

Ram Kapoor, in an interview with NDTV, didn't make any negative comments about Ekta. He said that Ekta has the right to say whatever she wants about him as she gave him what no one gave.

"She can say whatever she wants to, but I will not say a word. Because at the end of the day, she gave me what no one gave me. She believed in me when nobody else did. And for that, I will always be grateful. She has the right to say whatever she wants to about me till the end of my career," he said.

How did the rumoured rift start?

It all started when Ram, on Siddharth Kannan바카라™s podcast, spoke about shooting an intimate scene with his co-star Sakshi Tanwar on the sets of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain

Ram said that Ekta Kapoor planned the scene but he had reservations about doing it. He had said, "Ekta is the one who wrote the scene, wanted us to do the scene... I told Ekta, 바카라˜Are you sure? Ye television mein pehle kabhi hua nahi hai (This has not happened on television before); it was the first kiss of television, which is a big thing. And three generations watch (the show) together... but Ekta was very confident that we should do it. I said, okay, I바카라™ll first get a go-ahead from my wife. Then I told Sakshi that, look, I will handle Ekta. If you have a problem, tell me."

Later, Ekta, without taking Ram's name, slammed him on social media with a post that read: "Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should shut up. False information and skewed stories can only last till I talk. But there is dignity in silence."

In another video, she joked about weight loss and body image, saying, "Hum bade hi acche lagte hain." It was an indirect jibe at Ram Kapoor's body transformation.

On the work front, Ram Kapoor will be seen in a detective show, Mistry, which will premiere on JioHotstar on June 27. It has been directed by Rishab Seth, and produced by Banijay Asia in association with Universal International Studios. The show also stars Mona Singh Shikha Talsania, and Kshitish Date, alongside Ram.
