Pakistan on Friday said that its nuclear control and command structures are robust, and that the country remained fully confident in the strength of its "comprehensive nuclear security regime," PTI quoted the Foreign Office.
"Pakistan remains fully confident in the strength of its comprehensive nuclear security regime and the robustness of its command and control structures,바카라 the Foreign Office (FO) said in a statement, responded to a media query regarding Pakistan바카라s nuclear weapons.
The Foreign Office also stated that the international community should be more concerned about India바카라s nuclear arsenal and claimed that "the escalating radicalisation of India바카라s political landscape, media, and segments of its society raises legitimate nuclear security concerns."
Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated rapidly after the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack - where 26 civilians were killed - mostly tourists.
In retaliation, India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, targeting nine terrorist infrastructures in precision strikes. Pakistan too attempted to strike India's military bases on May 8, 9 and 10.
Rumors of nuclear radiation leak in Pakistan's Kirana Hills spread quickly. Kirana Hills reportedly houses some nuclear installations. The International Atomic Energy Agency, a global nuclear watchdog, stated that there was 바카라no radiation leak바카라 from any nuclear facility in Pakistan.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on May 14 visited Jammu and Kashmir where he mentioned that Pakistan's nuclear weapons should be taken under monitoring of International Atomic Energy Agency, adding that the country's nuclear weapon are not safe with "a rogue and irresponsible nation."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned in an address that India will not tolerate "nuclear blackmail" by Pakistan and would retaliate to cross-border terrorism strongly.
As tensions unfurled quickly, India and Pakistan reached a ceasefire understanding on May 10, when the director general of military operations of both countries spoke to each other.
