Foreign Secretary Misry Briefs Four All-Party Delegations On Operation Sindoor, All You Need To Know

The seven delegations were constituted as a part of India바카라s diplomatic outreach effort on Operation Sindoor and to highlight India's zero-tolerance stance against terrorism.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Friday briefed the remaining four multi-party delegations pertaining to India바카라s diplomatic outreach effort on Operation Sindoor. The four delegations led by Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, BJP leaders Ravi Shankar Prasad and Baijayant Panda and  NCP-SP leader Supriya Sule will soon be leaving for their respective destinations. 

Shashi Tharoor-led Delegation 

Congress MP Shahi Tharoor, who is leading a delegation to the United States of America posted a video on X asserting that, 바카라I'm heading off to five countries leading an all-party delegation to Guyana, Panama, Colombia, Brazil and the United States, and the reason we are going is to speak for the nation, to speak about this horrendous crisis we were subjected to in which our country was attacked by terrorists in the cruellest possible way." He also said that the delegation is scheduled to meet government officials, legislators, think tanks, media and also have some public interaction. The aim is to sensitise 바카라public opinion, parliamentary opinion, and legislative opinion in each of these countries.바카라 

The delegation led by Tharoor comprises BJP's Shashank Mani Tripathi, Bhubaneswar Kalita, and Tejasvi Surya, along with LJP (Ram Vilas)'s Shambhavi Choudhary, TDP's GM Harish Balayogi, Shiv Sena's Milind Deora, JMM's Sarfaraz Ahmad, along with former Ambassador to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu.

Ravi Shankar Prasad바카라s Delegation

After the meeting ended, Prasad said that, "Pakistan's track record over the past 70 years speaks for itself, and the world is now willing to listen to India. India is a responsible, democratic nation. In our country, decisions are made by democratically elected governments, not by the military."

The delegation is scheduled to visit several west European countries including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the EU, Italy and Denmark.

The delegation comprises Daggubatti Purandeswari (BJP), Priyanka Chaturvedi (SS-UBT), Ghulam Nabi Khatana (nominated), Amar Singh (Congress), Samik Bhattacharya (BJP), former Union minister M J Akbar and former diplomat Pankaj Saran. 

Supriya Sule-led Delegation 

After attending the briefing given by the foreign Secretary, Sule claimed that, "We are going to give a message of peace and friendship. Our group leaves tomorrow for South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, and Qatar. India is against terrorism and has zero tolerance towards it. India will continue its fight against terrorism," as reported by ANI

Sule will head the group comprising Rajeev Pratap Rudy (BJP), Vikramjit Sahney (AAP), Manish Tewari (Congress), Anurag Thakur (BJP), Lavu SriKrishna Devarayalu (TDP), former ministers Muraleedharan and Anand Sharma, and former diplomat Syed Akbaruddin

Baijayant Panda-led Delegation 

Another delegation led by Panda will travel to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Algeria to represent India and its zero-tolerance policy against terrorism. Panda has asserted that, 바카라the unity which was seen across the spectrum in India is very vital and there is an understanding and a commitment to take the country바카라s message to the world.바카라

The BJP MP바카라s delegation includes Nishikant Dubey, Phangnon Konyak, Rekha Sharma (all BJP), Asaduddin Owaisi (AIMIM), Satnam Sandhu (nominated), former minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and former foreign secretary Harsh Shringla. 

Previously briefed delegations 

Kanimozhi Karunanidhi-led delegation

Three delegations have already begun their outreach campaign. The all-party delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Andrey Rudenko in Moscow and briefed them about the cross-border terrorism from Pakistan that India is subjected to. Earlier, they had also held a round-table meeting with all-party members of the Russian Federation Assembly (Parliament) led by the Duma (lower house) International Affairs Committee chair Leonid Slutsky of Liberal-Democratic Party.

The Indian Embassy in Russia posted on social media stating that they also met with First Deputy Chair of the Committee on International Affairs Andrey Denisov and other senators in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation.

After the meeting, Karunanidhi said that, 바카라Our all-party parliamentary delegation, conveyed to Andrey Denisov, first deputy chair of the Committee on International Affairs, Russia, and senators India바카라s united and resolute stance against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, reaffirming our national consensus and unwavering commitment to a zero-tolerance policy.바카라

Sanjay Jha바카라s delegation

The All-party delegation led by JD(U) MP Sanjay Jha travelled to Japan and held a meeting with the senior leaders of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) on Friday. The Indian embassy in Japan posted on X stating that, 바카라All-Party  Delegation from India met with H.E. Mr. Fukushiro Nukaga, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan, building on the momentum of Mr. Nukaga바카라s recent visit to India where he expressed Japan바카라s full support for India바카라s fight against terrorism. Mr Nukaga reiterated his support for India바카라s unified national resolve to combat terrorism.바카라

The delegation was accompanied by India바카라s ambassador to Japan, Sibi George and held talks with leading Japanese think tanks and the diplomatic corps in Tokyo.

Shrikant Shinde-led delegation

The delegation led by Shiv Sena (Shinde) MP Shrikant Shinde concluded its visit to the United Arab Emirates. The Indian Embassy in the UAE posted onX stating that "The All-party delegation led by Eknath Shinde successfully concludes its highly productive visit to the UAE, further strengthening India-UAE cooperation in the fight against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

The delegation met with Jamal Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, Director General, National Media Office of UAE and discussed the media바카라s role in combating terroism. 

Discussions were also held with Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defence, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council focusing on the non-escalatory response in operation sindoor against the barbaric attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives. 

The leaders also met Nikolay Mladenov, Director General of Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy of the UAE to further the cooperation between India and the UAE.
