A Saudi Arabian Airlines flight arriving from Jeddah sparked a brief safety scare at Lucknow바카라™s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport on Saturday morning after smoke and sparks were detected emerging from one of its wheels during landing.
According to Economic Times, the incident occurred around the arrival of Flight SV 312 on June 15, prompting immediate action from the airport바카라™s Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) team. The emergency unit, in coordination with the Saudi technical crew, swiftly responded and managed to contain the situation before any damage could occur to the aircraft.
All passengers were safely disembarked, and airport authorities confirmed that there was no disruption to ongoing flight operations. Officials stressed that the event was handled as a precautionary measure and posed no serious threat.
An official inquiry into the cause of the smoke has been launched, according to The Times of India.
The incident comes at a time when aviation safety is under close scrutiny, with recent accidents, including the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad, heightening public concern.
