US Open Golf: J.J. Spaun Seals First Major Title In Plum

J.J. Spaun clinched his maiden major title at the 2025 U.S. Open with a gritty two-shot victory over Robert MacIntyre on a rain-hit final day at Oakmont on Sunday. Despite five bogeys in his first six holes, Spaun bounced back after a 90-minute weather delay, finishing with two back-nine birdies and a stunning 64-foot putt on the 18th. His two-over 72 secured him the only under-par finish for the weekend. Viktor Hovland placed third, while Sam Burns and Scottie Scheffler dropped down the leaderboard.
