The New Zealand women바카라™s cricket team are set to host Australia in a three-match T20I series starting from 21 March. The final match of the series will take place on 26 March. (More Cricket News)
Hosts Australia will enter the series as strong favourites, after their recent 16-0 decimation of England in Women바카라™s Ashes 2025 in February. Their recent record against the White Ferns is also positive, with a 2-0 win in the Rose Bowl Trophy in December 2024.
However, New Zealand are the current Women바카라™s T20 World Cup champions, and Suzie Bates and Co. will not allow this tour to be a lost cause, especially with the Women바카라™s Cricket World Cup scheduled for October.
However, both teams will have to grapple with rising injury concerns. Australia바카라™s regular captain Alyssa Healy has already ruled herself out of the series due to a run of injuries, and uncapped Nicole Faltum has been chosen as her replacement.
As for the Kiwis, wicketkeeper Izzy Gaze, batter Bella James, and pacer Hayley Jensen have all suffered injuries in the series against Sri Lanka Women, and are unlikely to be fit again before the series opener at Eden Park, Auckland.
