Trent Boult got his first victim, removing Devon Conway for 9 runs. The batter backed away, danced down a little, and edged the ball, which initially bobbled in the hands of the keeper, Connor Esterhuizen, before getting secured. What a beauty from Kagiso Rabada! After some earlier words with Jonny Bairstow, Rabada gets the last laugh in style. A perfect legcutter, pitching outside off, angles in, and seams past the outside edge to clip the off stump as Bairstow makes a late push. Rabada marks his comeback with a big wicket.

Ugh, the rain returns! The covers are back on, with the Super Kings still six runs ahead of the par score.

Faf du Plessis, Player Of The Match, said: "It was a tricky wicket. In both innings, we saw the new ball moved a lot, so you have to keep that intent. One of those innings where it's nice to get the team off to a good start. [The team's performance] I thought we were excellent on the field, especially how the guys put their bodies on the line. I thought we didn't bowl that well in the last three overs, which gave us 20 more runs than we would have liked to chase. Having a good powerplay was a good way to break their back."
