Krunal Pandya delivered a stunning performance in the Indian Premier League 2025 final, pushing Royal Challengers Bengaluru towards their first-ever title with a win over Punjab Kings on Tuesday.
Krunal's brilliant spell of four overs turned the game towards RCB when it looked like PBKS were in a strong position to chase down the 192-run target. They eventually won the IPL 2025 final by six runs in front of a packed Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The left-arm spinner was introduced into the attack right after the powerplay ended with the Kings already on 52 for the loss of only one wicket. Bowling to a set Prabhsimran Singh and a dangerous Josh Inglis, Krunal just conceded three runs in his first over.
He then came back in his second over to get Singh with a loopy, slow delivery. He kept bowling from the same end and in his third over conceded just seven runs despite getting slammed for a six off the very first ball.
Just as Inglis had started to look dangerous, Krunal had the Australian caught at long on to push RCB ahead in the final.
He ended with figures of 17 for two in the final to set up the game in RCB's favour
