Thailand continued their dominant run in the ICC Women바카라™s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier 2025, hammering UAE by 54 runs in the Super Three opener on Sunday, May 18, at the Terdthai Cricket Ground in Bangkok.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, the hosts posted 144/5 in their 20 overs. Star batter Natthakan Chantham stole the show with a blistering unbeaten 46 off just 20 balls.
In response, UAE never really got going. Tight bowling from the Thai attack restricted them to just 90/5 in their full 20 overs, falling well short of the target.
The result sees Thailand consolidate their lead on the Super Three table with eight points, having carried six from the group stage.
Both Thailand and UAE had topped their respective groups in the first round -- with Thailand leading Group A and UAE topping Group B.
