Despite only one win in their last five league matches, they remain fourth in the table and are in a strong position for Champions League qualification.
This marks Athletic's first major European quarter-final since 2015-16. They have lost their last two matches in Scotland, including a 1-0 defeat to Dunfermline in 1965 and a 4-1 loss to Rangers in 1969.
