With that, the 23-year-old also becomes the 19th different player to score for Inter this season.

The Zalewski goal remains the difference between Inter Milan and Torino, going into the mid-game interval. It began raining heavily in the latter stages of the first half, so much so that play had to be stopped for a while. It eventually resumed with six minutes of added time and Inter goalie Josep Martinez came up with a stunning save to deny Che Adams at the brink of half time.

We are moments away from the resumption of the game. There was a pitch inspection during half-time to assess the state of waterlogging, and whether it was safe to play the remainder of the game. The referee has given the go-ahead, and the second half is coming up soon.

It's a rocky start to the second half for Torino, as their custodian Vanja Milinkovic Savic brings down Taremi in the box and the referee not only books the 'keeper, but also points to the spot. Kristjan Asllani steps up to the spot and produces a calm finish to put Inter ahead 2-0. The Nerazzurri doing all they can to put the pressure on leaders Napoli, who face Genoa later.

The match appears to be destined to go Inter Milan's way, unless Torino can produce something miraculous in the last few minutes. Milinkovic Savic has kept the Nerazzurri at bay for some time, but they still hold a two-goal lead which will be very hard to offset given the scant time at hand.

The victory draws Nerazzurri level with table-toppers Napoli at 77 points, though the Partenopei still have a game in hand (against Genoa).
