Carlos Alcaraz Vs Roberto Bautista Agut, Queen's Club Championships: Top Seed Breezes Into Final

Carlos Alcaraz extended his longest career winning streak to 17 matches, while he also notched the 250th Tour-level win in his 311th match. Only Rafael Nadal (310) and John McEnroe (307) have reached that total in fewer matches in the Open Era than Alcaraz

Carlos Alcaraz tallied up the 250th Tour-level victory of his career to reach the Queen's final after beating compatriot Roberto Bautista Agut.

Alcaraz, who has dropped just one set on his way to the showpiece match in London, impressed again as he eased to a 6-4 6-4 victory in one hour and 29 minutes.

The Spaniard set up a clash with Jiri Lehecka, who beat home hopeful Jack Draper earlier in the day, in what will be just their third meeting.

After missing two break points in the opening game of the first set, Alcaraz was able to break in the third game to set the foundations for a routine triumph.

The French Open champion sealed the first set with an outrageous backhand volley, and quickly broke in the second to yet another win.

And the top seed sealed his progression in style, spraying an array of forehands across the court before sending another to the baseline, and Bautista Agut could not reach it.

Data Debrief: Milestone up for sensational Alcaraz

Alcaraz's impressive form continued as he extended his longest career winning streak to 17 matches, while he also notched the 250th Tour-level win in his 311th match.

Indeed, only Rafael Nadal (310) and John McEnroe (307) have reached that total in fewer matches in the Open Era than Alcaraz.

He is also now into his fifth consecutive final, only failing to win one of those against Holger Rune in Barcelona, and also his second at Queen's, when he lifted the trophy in 2023.

And Alcaraz will face Lehecka for the second time at Queen's. He beat the Czech en route to his maiden title three years ago with a 6-2 6-3 victory in the last 16.
