Centuries from Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mushfiqur Rahim steered Bangladesh to 292/3 on day 1 against Sri Lanka in the 1st Test at Galle. Earlier, Shanto won the toss and opted to bat on a flat track and especially a Test match that will see Angelo Mathews don the colours for one final time. For the hosts, Tharindu Ratnayake picked up two wickets and gave away 124 runs. The current series is the first in the WTC Championship cycle.
