Lewis Hamilton Jokes On Driving Ferrari Car: It's Like Dancing With 'Someone That Has No Rhythm'

Hamilton qualified fifth for the Canadian Grand Prix as Ferrari failed to capitalise on a promising final practice session on Saturday in Montreal

Lewis Hamilton joked that driving his Ferrari Formula One car is like dancing with "someone that has no rhythm".

The Brit qualified fifth for the Canadian Grand Prix as Ferrari failed to capitalise on a promising final practice session on Saturday in Montreal.

Hamilton's highest finish so far was in the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, where he crossed the line in fourth, having failed to earn a podium so far since his move from Mercedes.

He has struggled to adapt, though, and labelled his sixth-place finish in Spain as his 바카라śworst race [for Ferrari], balance-wise바카라ť.

And those issues seem to have persisted in Canada, with team-mate Charles Leclerc starting from eighth on the grid, having also crashed in the first practice session on Friday.

"This car... it's like someone that can't dance," Hamilton told Canal+. "Someone that has no rhythm, you know?

"Trying to get someone that doesn't have rhythm to have rhythm, it's very, very difficult. That's how it feels with this car."

Despite their struggles, Ferrari are second in the constructors바카라™ championship, though they are 197 points behind leaders McLaren.

In the drivers바카라™ standings, Hamilton sits sixth on 71 points, 23 behind Leclerc.

The 41-year-old is staying positive ahead of the race, though, and is confident he can challenge for a strong result.

"I'll be giving it everything to fight for a podium," he said. "With the right strategy and strong race pace, I think it's possible.

"We're staying hopeful, but we know it's not going to be easy."
