Ever since the film hit the silver screens on June 16, Kriti Sanon, Prabhas, Sunny Singh and Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Adipurush' has embroiled itself into controversy. It has not only been slammed for its VFX or presentation of the Hindu epic 바카라Ramayana바카라 but the film바카라s dialogues too have caused a stir.Â
Albeit, in an interview with Aaj Tak, the film바카라s co-writer, Manoj Muntashir, recently mentioned, amid all the backlash, that the team of 바카라Adipurush바카라 was not making Ramayana but the film is just heavily inspired by it. He further stated how the disclaimer too says that the film is heavily inspired, and hence, it does not claim to be the 바카라Ramayana바카라, and hence, did not name the film 바카라Ramayana바카라 too.Â
In fact, the makers have now decided to rework on the dialogues. "There is nothing beyond the sentiments of the audience and harmony. Team Adipurush in respect of public opinion, revamps dialogues for the film's unifying experience," the director Om Raut mentioned in a statement.
Meanwhile, 바카라Adipurush바카라 isn바카라t the only film that has been 바카라inspired바카라 by 바카라Ramayana바카라. There are a few others too. Let바카라s have a look:
1. 바카라Sampoorna Ramayana바카라 (1961)Â
The film is an interesting retelling of the entire Ramayana, from the birth of Lord Rama to his victory over Ravana. Directed by Babubhai Mistry, the film featured several popular actors of the time.Â
2. 바카라Jai Santoshi Maa바카라 (1975)Â
Although the film was not a direct retelling of the 바카라Ramayana바카라, it was based on the Hindu goddess Santoshi Mata, who is often associated with Sita. The film was directed by Vijay Sharma and starred Kanan Kaushal, Bharat Bhushan, and Anita Guha. Made on a low-budget, the film emerged to be one of the most successful films at the box office at the time of its release.
3. Lav Kush (1997)Â
Based on the story of Lord Rama's twin sons, Luv and Kush, the film was helmed by V. Madhusudhan Rao and featured a star-studded cast, including Jeetendra, Jaya Prada, and Aruna Irani.Â
4. 바카라Hum Saath Saath Hain바카라 (1999)
Touted to be one of the best family entertainers of all time, the film drew inspiration from the Hindu epic. Be it the bond between stepbrothers to Lord Rama바카라s exile, the film바카라s plot was similar to that of 바카라Ramayana바카라. Helmed by Sooraj Barjatya under the production and distribution of Rajshri Productions, the film featured Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Mohnish Bahl, Mahesh Thakur, and Neelam.Â
5. 바카라Raavan바카라 (2010)Â
Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film was a modern retelling of the 바카라Ramayana바카라. It featured Abhishek Bachchan as Raavan, Aishwarya Rai as Sita, and Vikram as Rama. While the film바카라s crux remains to be of the epic, it has a modernised plot which reveals the perspective of Ravana.
6. 바카라Baahubali: The Conclusion바카라 (2017)
SS Rajamouli's blockbuster 바카라Baahubali바카라 was inspired by 바카라Ramayana바카라, and the second part of the franchise has Baahubali and Devseana getting banished from the Royal Palace, just like in 바카라Ramayana바카라.
7. 바카라Ram Setu바카라 (2022)Â
Ram Setu was the bridge, which was constructed by Lord Ram to reach the island Lanka in order to rescue his wife Sita from Ravana. Starring Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Satya Dev, the film followed the story of an archeologist who is investigating the nature of Rama Setu.
8. 바카라RRR바카라 (2022)Â
Not just 바카라Baahubali바카라, the SS Rajamouli blockbuster 바카라RRR바카라 too was inspired by not only 바카라Ramayana바카라, but the Hindu mythological 'Mahabharata' too.
