Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have ended their nearly two-decade-old wait for an Indian Premier League (IPL) title and their fans are overjoyed with celebrations going on all over the country. It was a tough outing for Punjab Kings (PBKS) who fought hard but fell six runs short of RCB's total to lose out on the coveted T20 trophy.
Batting first in the IPL 2025 final, RCB could only get to 184/7 -- a below par total considering Ahmedabad's batting friendly natute -- but the total proved enough for the Rajat Patidar-led side to beat Shreyas Iyer's Kings.
The celebrations were followed by the award presentation ceremony after which the trophy was presented to the RCB side.
The award ceremony saw Gujarat Titans' Sai Sudharsan's multiple entry as the youngster kept winning awards after awards for his stellar season. The 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was included in the India U-19 squad for England, too received an award in his debut season.
