Anirudh Ravichander is one of the most sought-after music composers not only in the Tamil industry but has also become a pan-India composer after the success of Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawan'. He gave his latest music to Thalapathy Vijay starrer 'Leo'. But he has landed into plagiarism controversy for his song in the film. Recently, he dropped 'Ordinary Person' track from Leo on YouTube and listeners were quick to notice that the song sounded similar to Belarusian musician Otnicka바카라s track 바카라Where Are You바카라.
The 'Peaky Blinder's singer shared a post on Instagram to address the issue in detail. In the post, he said he is looking into the matter and will give an assessment a little later.
Otnicka wrote, 바카라Guys, thanks for hundreds of your messages about the movie 바카라Leo바카라. I can see everything, but it바카라s physically impossible to answer everyone. The mail is overflowing with messages, Instagram, as well as thousands of comments on YouTube under the video 바카라Where Are You바카라. The situation is very unclear바카라 We are looking into this and a little later I will give an assessment of everything that is happening (sic). But I'm not accusing anyone yet. Important! One of the authors of "Otnicka - Where Are You" is also a music composer Artem Mikhaenkin - @mihaenkin Thank you바카라
Otnicka even wrote that he was unaware that his song was being used in 'Leo'. "The label does not own the copyright and cannot grant a license without the artist's knowledge. No one contacted me and the team (sic),'' he wrote.
Here's 'Ordinary Person' song from 'Leo'.
Anirudh is yet to comment on the matter.
