Bhool Chuk Maaf Theatrical Release Called Off; Rajkummar Rao-Wamiqa Gabbi Starrer To Release On OTT

Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi starrer Bhool Chuk Maaf's release has been delayed due to Operation Sindoor. The family entertainer, which was supposed to hit the screens on May 9, will now skip theatrical release. Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films today, announced that the film will directly stream on OTT.

The theatrical release of Bhool Chuk Maaf has been called off due to the current atmosphere in the country. It바카라ll now release digitally next week on May 16.

On Thursday, the makers issued a statement that read: "In light of recent events and heightened security drills across the nation, we at Maddock Films and Amazon MGM Studios have decided to bring our family entertainer, Bhool Chuk Maaf, directly to your homes on May 16-only on Prime Video worldwide."

It further read: "While we were eagerly looking forward to celebrating this film with you in theatres, the spirit of the nation comes first. JAI HIND".

The press shows in Mumbai and Delhi today, have also been cancelled.

As per reports, Bhool Chuk Maaf got a clean chit from Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). It was passed with zero cuts, with an U/A 13+ certified. The runtime of the film is 2 hours 1 min.

Written and directed by Karan Sharma, Bhool Chuk Maaf stars Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles.

Set in Varanasi, Rajkummar Rao's Ranjan gets trapped in an time loop before his wedding to Titli (Wamiqa Gabbi). The film also features Seema Pahwa, Zakir Hussain, Sanjay Mishra and Raghubir Yadav in significant roles.
