Maheep Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor's daughter Shanaya Kapoor is making her much-anticipated Bollywood debut, in the upcoming romantic drama Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, alongside Vikrant Massey. The first poster of the film, featuring both Vikrant and Shanaya was unveiled today. Together, they are set to create magic on-screen with their chemistry that is fresh, and magnetic.
Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is about a magical love story that promises to captivate audiences with its engaging narrative, emotional depth, and the fresh pairing of Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey. The film will hit the screens on July 11, 2025. The teaser will be out tomorrow.
Sharing the poster on Instagram, the makers wrote, "Two hearts. One love. And countless Gustaakhiyan 💞🎶#AankhonKiGustaakhiyan Teaser Out Tomorrow! Come feel the love on 11th July in cinemas near you (sic)".
The film is presented by Zee Studios and Mini Films, and produced by Mansi Bagla and Varun Bagla. It is directed by Santosh Singh and written by Mansi Bagla, with soulful music composed by Vishal Mishra.
Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan said to be based on Ruskin Bond's short story, The Eyes Have It. Shanaya will be seen as a theatre artist, and Vikrant will be seen as a blind musician. The plot of the film is kept under wraps.
Apart from Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan, Shanaya will also be seen in Tu Yaa Main alongside Adarsh Gourav, and JC with Abhay Verma.
Vikrant Massey was last seen The Sabarmati Report. Reportedly, he will be seen in Dostana 2. He will also play spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in White.
