The much-awaited Criminal Justice Season 4 trailer was unveiled today, May 14. The fourth season of Criminal Justice is titled A Family Matter and is directed by Rohan Sippy. The thriller legal drama, produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios, is led by Pankaj Tripathi. It will stream on JioHotstar from May 29, 2025. Earlier, it was slated to release on May 22.

Tripathi has returned with his character of lawyer Madhav Mishra, who now has a new case revolving around "a torrid love affair and an unforeseen murder", as per the series' official plotline.

This seems to be the toughest of all the cases Mishra dealt with in the previous seasons. In the new season, he tries to defend his client in a scandalous murder case which has three sides of truth.

The one-minute, 59 seconds trailer starts with Madhav Mishra being called by a woman named Anju Nagpal (Surveen Chawla), who wants him to take up a case. Dr. Raj Nagpal (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub) has been arrested for the murder of his girlfriend Roshni Saluja (played by Asha Negi). Raj denies the accusations and as Madhav tries to defend him, new twists and secrets unfold. Surprisingly, Anju herself is named a co-accused, which makes the case more complicated for Madhav.

Earlier, in a statement, Pankaj said Criminal Justice feels like "homecoming" to him. ''Every time I return as Madhav Mishra, it's like reuniting with an old friend who still has something new to teach me. There's an honesty and warmth to him that audiences have held onto through every season. That love is deeply humbling. Madhav isn't just a character I play바카라he's someone I carry with me. And with each chapter, that bond only grows stronger," he added.
