Veteran actor Paresh Rawal was reportedly all set to return to Hera Pheri 3, where he was supposed to reprise his character Baburao Ganpatrao Apte aka Babu bhaiya. Now, Paresh has officially confirmed that he is not part of Hera Pheri 3. For the unversed, the news of his exit was first hinted at by Suniel Shetty a few days back, in an interview.

On Sunday, Paresh Rawal took to social media to confirm his exit but also clarified that the reason is not "creative differences". Here's what he said.

Why Paresh Rawal exits Hera Pheri 3

In his statement, Paresh wrote, 바카라œI wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I reiterate that there are no creative disagreements with the filmmaker. I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan, the film director.바카라

Paresh Rawal's portrayal of Babu bhaiya in the comedy film is one of his most loved characters till date. His absence in the third part of Hera Pheri, will be missed by the audiences.

Hera Pheri 3 has been in the news for the reports of changes in directors, scripts, and the cast. Earlier, reports claimed that Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal were returning for the film under Priyadarshan바카라™s direction. There were also reports of Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Kartik Aaryan to be part of the film.

Directed by Priyadarshan, the original Hera Pheri, released in 2000. It starred Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal. The movie was a huge success. The sequel, Phir Hera Pheri, directed by Neeraj Vora, was released in 2006, and it didn't achieve the same praise as its original.
