For years now, there have been speculations about a sequel to the super hit film 바카라Jab We Met,바카라 which stars Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. No one from the film바카라s team ever confirmed or denied the idea of the film바카라s sequel. Now, Imtiaz Ali, who directed the movie, sat down to have a conversation with News18 and revealed whether a second part is in the works or not.
Fans of the movie should keep these hopes low as a chance to make a sequel is rather slim. 바카라Why have a sequel to 바카라Jab We Met바카라 (laughs)? If people want to keep relishing the film, they can keep watching the first one! There has to be a story and a reason to make 바카라Jab We Met 2.바카라 But let바카라s see if it happens. Never say never!바카라
Back in 2020, Ali directed a sequel to 바카라Love Aaj Kal,바카라 which stars Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan, but that film was a box office underperformance. When asked if he바카라s afraid of 바카라Jab We Met 2바카라 becoming a flop, he said, 바카라I made 바카라Love Aaj Kal바카라 the second time and people didn바카라t love it that much (laughs). Just kidding! That바카라s not the reason why I don바카라t want to make a sequel to 바카라Jab We Met.바카라 But unless there바카라s a really passionate reason to make a sequel, one shouldn바카라t.바카라
However, the director added that he would love to work with Kareena Kapoor again. The film resulted from such a fruitful collaboration that he wouldn바카라t risk spoiling that experience by presenting an average script to her just to maintain their association. 바카라Kareena and I are so fond of working with each other but we바카라ve never had the chance to work again till date because there was nothing different and unique enough or better than what we바카라ve done before,바카라 he went on to say.
The director, currently basking in the success of 바카라Amar Singh Chamkila,바카라 stated that unless something interesting arises, he wouldn바카라t make a sequel because he doesn바카라t want the film to be a 바카라dull memory.바카라
