Ramayana: Yash Teams Up With Mad Max Stunt Director Guy Norris For Massive Action Sequences

Stunt director Guy Norris of Mad Max fame has boarded Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana to choreograph epic action sequences for Yash.

Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, is one of the most anticipated projects which is reportedly made on a grand scale. The movie was officially announced in November last year. The filming had started much before the announcement. KGF star Yash who is playing Ravana in the mythological film, is also serving as the co-producer under his banner, Monster Mind Creations with producer Namit Malhotra바카라™s Prime Focus Studios.

The latest report in Variety suggests that renowned stunt director Guy Norris, of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Mad Max: Fury Road and The Suicide Squad, has boarded the magnum opus to choreograph elaborate action sequences for Yash.

The same report stated that Norris is currently in India working closely with Yash.

In the pics that have gone viral on social media, we see Yash and Norris in a deep conversation where they seem to prepare for the great cinematic spectacle. Yash is said to have a 60-70 day shooting schedule for Ramayana Part 1.

Earlier, in an interview with Variety, Yash had said, ''We believe we know Ramayana well, yet each time it unveils fresh wisdom, ignites new knowledge and offers unique perspectives. Our vision is to translate this timeless epic onto the silver screen. It will be a grand spectacle, honoring its scale, but at its core, it will be an honest and faithful portrayal of the story, emotions and values we hold dear. This is a journey to share Ramayana with the world''.

He also said that it has been his long-term goal to produce films that will ''showcase Indian cinema on a global level''.

Ramayana has a stellar ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman.

Ramayana Part 1 will hit the screens on Diwali 2026, followed by Part 2 on Diwali 2027. Oscar-winning VFX studio DNEG is behind the visual effects of the film.
