Rishab Shetty바카라s first look as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was unveiled today, December 3. Along with the first look, Rishab also announced the film바카라s release date. It is all set to hit the screens on January 21, 2027. Other details about the upcoming film are under wraps.
Rishab announced the project on the Maratha warrior on social media. He wrote on X, "This is isn바카라t just a film, it바카라s a battle cry to honour a warrior who fought against all odds, challenged the might of the mighty Mughal empire, and forged a legacy that can never be forgotten".
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will be directed by filmmaker Sandeep Singh, who has produced acclaimed Hindi films such as Aligarh, Jhund, PM Narendra Modi and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar among others.
Apart from this, Rishab Shetty has Kantara: Chapter 1, the prequel to his blockbuster Kantara in the works. Written and directed by Rishab Shetty himself, it will be released worldwide on October 2, 2025. The Kannada superstar will also play the lead in Jai Hanuman, which is a sequel to director Prasanth Varma바카라s Hanu-Man (2023).
