Actor Sara Ali Khan's next film 바카라Ae Watan Mere Watan바카라 is set against the backdrop of Quit India Movement in 1942 and follows the intrepid journey of a college woman in Bombay who goes on to become a freedom fighter. For Sara, the film challenged her as an actor.
바카라In our film, there is a part where we call her a 바카라gumnaam nayak바카라, an anonymous fighter because we don바카라t know her. She sacrificed so much and you don바카라t know who she is, that stands according to me, as a huge tale of sacrifice, strength and bravery.
''All this is prevalent in today바카라s times or any time. So, it was definitely challenging and exciting too,바카라 the 27-year-old actor, known for films such as 바카라Kedarnath바카라 and 바카라Atrangi Re바카라, told PTI. Sara, who holds a degree in history and political science from Columbia University, said the film enlightened her about the unsung freedom fighter.
바카라I am a history student so I know a decent amount about our freedom struggle but I didn바카라t know about her. And I can imagine there are many people who don바카라t know about her,바카라 she added.
바카라Ae Watan Mere Watan바카라 will premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. The makers are yet to announce the release date.
Sara is currently seen in Gaslight, a mystery-thriller film directed by Pavan Kirpalani and produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri. The film also stars Vikrant Massey and Chitrangada Singh and was released on 31 March on Disney+ Hotstar.
