On Silk Smitha바카라s 64th birth anniversary, a biopic, Silk Smitha - Queen of the South, was announced with India-born Australian actress Chandrika Ravi playing the late actress.
On Monday, Chandrika shared a 3-minute glimpse from the upcoming biopic on her Instagram stories and wrote, "In honour of Silk Smitha바카라s birthday today, we present to you the first glimpse of Silk Smitha - Queen of the South.바카라
The video starts with Indira Gandhi seeing news about Silk Smitha in the newspapers and asking her aide about her. He replies, 바카라Madame, like you are the Iron Lady, she is the Magnetic Lady.바카라 We then see Chandrika turning and walking down a boulevard. She then interacts with a fan who wants her to sign his chest. She is also seen playing with stray dogs.

The clip has Ilaiyaraaja바카라s iconic music for Mella Mella from Vaazhkai, which also starred Silk.
Directed by Jayaram Sankaran and backed by S.B. Vijay Amritharaj, Silk Smitha's biopic is set to begin production in 2025.
Silk Smitha was born as Vijayalakshmi Vadlapati. She acted in several Tamil, Telugu Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi films. She was one of the most popular actors of 1980s and early 1990s. Her biopic will show her controversial life during her years in the entertainment industry.
Vidya Balan starrer The Dirty Picture (2011) was inspired by the life of Silk Smitha.
