Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer War 2 is one of the much-awaited upcoming movies of 2025. Fans have been waiting with bated breath for the actioner to hit the screens soon. Adding to the excitement, Hrithik shared a major update on War 2. Read on to know.
On May 16, taking to his X handle, Hrithik Roshan shared a post, where he tagged Jr NTR and hinted at major update on May 20. For the unversed, May 20 marks Jr NTR's birthday.
Hrithik post read: "Hey @tarak9999, think you know what to expect on the 20th of May this year? Trust me you have NO idea what바카라™s in store. Ready (sic)?"
There have been reports that War 2 teaser will be out on May 20.
War 2 marks Taarak's Bollywood debut and his first collaboration with Hrithik. Earlier, at an event, when the Fighter actor was asked about his favourite co-star, he named Jr NTR and said, "I just did War 2 with him, and he's amazing, he's brilliant. He's such a fine teammate. I think we have done something good, and I can't wait for you guys to watch it."
When is War 2 releasing?
In March this year, reacting to an unofficial promotional asset of War 2 on X, Yash Raj Films replied, "Must say... you have set it up brilliantly even before we have started our marketing of #War2 ... there will be mayhem in cinemas on 14 August 2025, worldwide... (sic)."
War 2 is the sequel to the 2019 film War, which starred Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. The sequel is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Jr NTR will reportedly be seen in the role of the antagonist and will lock horns with Hrithik.
It is the fifth film in YRF바카라™s Spy Universe, after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3.
It is reported that War 2 will feature Kiara Advani in the female lead role, while Shraddha Kapoor is said to have a dance number.
