As the bike I rideÂ
To avoid honking I decideÂ
A challenge indeedÂ
As honking is now more than just a needÂ
As I consciously honk honk....no moreÂ
Such moments in my understanding of self open new doorsÂ
Honking an invisible extension of my presenceÂ
Recognising and acknowledging the honkers presence...of honking the essenceÂ
Angry honks
Screaming honks
Let me pass first honks
Don't you see me honksÂ
Listen to me honksÂ
Seeking attention honksÂ
Smug honks
Happy honksÂ
No honking...let me be more awareÂ
I acknowledge others presence and thus to pause or stop now I am more preparedÂ
No more, by honking i am throwing  my emotions at othersÂ
Now I use a simple satisfied smile to share with my fellow road travellersÂ
Just a smile and nod of acceptanceÂ
No more honkingÂ
No more cursingÂ
No more cussingÂ
No more fussingÂ
