Following a heated argument at Oval Office with US President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy posted a video message on Monday, expressing his 'gratitude' for the support Ukraine has received from Europe, the UK, and its allies.
What Did Zelenskyy Say?
In his video post on microblogging website X, Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude, thanking European nations and the US for their support and cooperation.
He posted on X, "As a result of these days, we see clear support from Europe. Even more unity, even more willingness to cooperate. Everyone is united on the main issue바카라”for peace to be real, we need real security guarantees. And this is the position of all of Europe바카라”the entire continent. The United Kingdom, the European Union, Türkiye."
President Zelenskyy also acknowledged the role played by the United States in supporting Ukraine's bid for independence.
"Of course, we understand the importance of America, and we are grateful for all the support we바카라™ve received from the United States. There has not been a day when we haven바카라™t felt gratitude. It바카라™s gratitude for the preservation of our independence바카라”our resilience in Ukraine is based on what our partners are doing for us바카라”and for their own security," he stated.
The Ukrainian president reiterates the need to guarantee peace and security, stating, "What we need is peace, not endless war. And that바카라™s why we say security guarantees are the key to this."
