China바카라s military has denied widespread online reports claiming that one of its largest military cargo aircraft was used to deliver arms supplies to Pakistan, warning of legal consequences for spreading false information, according to PTI.
In a statement released on Monday, the People바카라s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAF) dismissed allegations that its Xi바카라an Y-20 strategic transport aircraft had flown military supplies to Pakistan. The clarification appeared on the official website of China바카라s Ministry of Defense.
바카라After noticing a large volume of online information regarding a 바카라Y-20 transporting relief supplies to Pakistan,바카라 the Air Force clarified that such claims are untrue,바카라 the statement said. It included screenshots of social media posts that had circulated the claim, each marked with the red stamp "rumour" to indicate their falsehood.
"The internet is not beyond the law! Those who produce and spread military-related rumours will be held legally responsible," the PLA added, signalling potential legal action against those propagating misinformation.
As per the PTI, the denial is notable given the close military and strategic relationship between China and Pakistan. It also comes just two days after India and Pakistan announced a renewed commitment to ceasefire agreements, amid speculation about Pakistan바카라s need for military replenishment.
While China has refuted recent airlift claims, its role as Pakistan바카라s key defense supplier remains well-documented. According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), China accounted for 81% of Pakistan바카라s arms imports between 2020 and 2024, including advanced fighter jets, naval vessels, radars, and missile systems.
Despite this long-standing defense partnership, the PLA's strong rebuttal indicates Beijing바카라s sensitivity to allegations of covert military support at a time of regional tension and diplomatic recalibration.
