US President Donald Trump has said that a trade agreement with India is likely, as discussions on tariffs between the two countries are 바카라œcoming along great.바카라

Speaking to reporters outside the White House on Tuesday, Mr Trump said, 바카라œI think we바카라™ll have a deal with India.바카라

The two countries are working towards securing 바카라œearly mutual wins바카라 as part of the first phase of a larger trade deal. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi바카라™s recent visit, Mr Trump added, 바카라œThe Prime Minister, as you know, was here three weeks ago, and they want to make a deal,바카라 according to CNBC News. Mr Modi had visited the White House in late February.

His comments came a day after US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the US was 바카라œvery close on India,바카라 suggesting that the talks are progressing well.

On 2 April, Mr Trump announced new reciprocal tariffs on several countries, including India and China. However, on 9 April, he put a 90-day hold on most of these tariffs바카라”until 9 July바카라”excluding those on China and Hong Kong. The move came after nearly 75 countries reached out to the US to discuss trade arrangements.

Still, the 10% base tariff introduced on 2 April remains in place, along with 25% duties on steel, aluminium, and auto components.

The trade discussions are seen as an important step in strengthening India바카라“US economic ties.
