The confusion arose as the lyrics of the new single saw Gomez happily boasting about her plans to break up with a boyfriend and going to a party on her own. Shutting all mounting rumors, the 바카라�Blinding Lights바카라� singer posted on Instagram saying they 바카라�Couldn바카라�t be more false바카라�.
Selena Gomez and The Weeknd had dated for about 10 months in the year 2017. Their romance was quite loved by fans of both singers and a ray of hope for Selena's new single being about The Weeknd was noticed among their supporters.s. However, despite clarifications, the fans on the Internet are happy finding lyrics that suit the speculation quite well.
For instance, the lyrics 바카라�I don바카라�t wanna see a tear바카라� seems to echo with The Weeknd바카라�s 2020 hit single 바카라�Save Your Tears바카라�, which was also rumored to be about Selena. Another line that says, 바카라�And the weekend바카라�s almost here바카라�, took the excitement among the fans to another level, thinking there might be a connection to the singer The Weeknd.  
However, the confusion seems to rest with both the singers denying any connection of their past relationship with the song.
