Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to meet members of the multi-party delegations who have been sent to 33 countries as part of India's diplomatic outreach after the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and the launch of Operation Sindoor.
As per reports, the meeting is likely to take place in New Delhi on June 9 or 10, where the prime minister will be briefed on developments from the country visits as part of the Operation Sindoor outreach.
The delegations engaged with the international communities to establish India's anti-terror stance and gather global support for its fight against terrorism.
Besides, a delegation of MPs led by Baijayant Panda is also expected to meet External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar tomorrow at 2:30 PM to brief him about their visit. The delegation, headed by Panda, had visited Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Algeria.
On June 4, PM Modi is reportedly scheduled to chair a meeting of the council of ministers at 4.30 pm, the first after India launched Operation Sindoor in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack.
Back in May, the Indian government decided to send an all-party delegation of seven members to key partner countries, including members of the UN Security Council, to assert its zero tolerance against terrorism following the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 that claimed the lives of 26 individuals.
The teams include several political leaders from both the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the opposition parties.
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, BJP바카라™s Ravi Shankar Prasad, JDU바카라™s Sanjay Kumar Jha, BJP바카라™s Baijayant Panda, Kanimozhi Karunanidhi from DMK, NCP바카라™s Supriya Sule, and Shiv Sena leader Shrikant Shinde are serving as part of the delegation.
