The Congress Working Committee (CWC) called the Pahalgam terror attack a 바카라cowardly and calculated act of terror바카라 on Thursday. It calls for a detailed analysis of 바카라intelligence failure바카라 and 바카라security lapses바카라 that led to the attack.
On April 24, CWC assembled at 24, Akbar Road headquarters for a party meeting focused on the Pahalgam terror attack that took place on April 22, 2025, resulting in the killing of 26 people, mainly tourists and wounding at least 20 others.
CWC Offers Condolences
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Chairperson of Congress Parliamentary Party Sonia Gandhi, former Party Chief Rahul Gandhi along with other party members attended the meeting. They have condemned the attack and offered its condolences to the victims바카라 families by saying, 바카라The Congress Working Committee extends its deepest condolences to the bereaved families. It stands with them wholeheartedly in this moment of profound anguish바카라.
CWC also paid tributes to the local tourist guides and pony walas, 바카라One of whom was martyred while selflessly trying to protect the tourist to uphold the idea of India바카라.

CWC On Security Failures
Raising the matter of safety failures, Congress says in its resolution that Pahalgam is known for its three tier security. It says, 바카라It is imperative that a comprehensive analysis is conducted into the intelligence failures and security lapses that enabled such an attack in a Union Territory-an area directly under the purview of the Union Home Ministry. These questions must be raised in the larger public interest. This is the only way justice can truly be seen to be served for the families whose have been so brutally devastated바카라.

CWC Attacks BJP
CWC attacked BJP by saying that BJP is exploiting the grave tragedy through its official and proxy social media platforms in a way that바카라s spreading 바카라discord, mistrust, polarisation and division바카라 at a time when 바카라unity and solidarity바카라 is mostly needed.
Safety Of Pilgrims And The Residents Of Kashmir
As the Amarnath Yatra was scheduled to commence soon, the resolution talks about a 바카라robust, transparent and proactive바카라 security arrangements. It has also mentioned about the safety concerns of pilgrims and the protection of Jammu and Kashmir people whose earnings depend on tourism.
