Two persons have been injured following the BJP-CPI (M) supporters' clashes near former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb바카라s ancestral house in Gomti district, police said on Wednesday. The incident occurred on Tuesday night after a group of priests arrived at Deb's residence at Rajdhanagar in Jamjuri area of Udaipur to perform a Yajna in the annual Shradh ceremony of Deb's father, Hirudhan Deb.
Starting Wednesday, a four-day yagna was to be held on the death anniversary of Deb's father at their ancestral home Jamjuri for which BJP activists decorated the house and the nearby area. Meanwhile, a group of CPI(M) supporters also put up party flags in the area for their programme.
바카라Some of CPI(M) flags were allegedly found torn and thrown away바카라, following which the clash broke out near the BJP Rajya Sabha MP바카라s residence.
바카라One vehicle owned by a guest of Deb was allegedly torched by the CPI(M) supporters during the clash and two BJP activists suffered injuries. Angered BJP activists then set four shops of CPI(M) workers in the village on fire,바카라 said Udaipur Sub-Divisional Police Officer Nirupam Dutta.
As locals started to protest over the incident, security forces rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. Dutta said that police personnel have currently been deployed there to maintain peace.
The police have arrested one person for their alleged involvement in the Tuesday night clashes, the SDPO said. 바카라We have registered a suo motu case and an investigation has started to look into the incident. A villager has also lodged a complaint, alleging that the CPI (M)-backed miscreants attacked BJP supporters,바카라 he added.
