The National Capital and the surrounding region experienced strong dust storms on Saturday afternoon.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted widespread rainfall and thunderstorms across many parts of the country over the next seven days.
As per the May 17 weather update, widespread rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds is expected in several regions.
According to IMD, rain and thundershowers are expected on Saturday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 42 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius respectively.
