Canada suffered a 15-run loss to Oman in Lauderhill, Florida in the 68th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 which is a qualification tournament for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2027.
Opting to bat first, Oman managed a total of 217/6 in their 50 overs, thanks to resilient knocks from Hammad Mirza, who scored 77, and Mohammad Nadeem, who remained unbeaten on 76.
Chasing 218 to win, Canada fell short by 15 runs, getting bowled out for 202 in 49 overs. Shakeel Ahmed and Samay Srivastava took three wickets each, dismantling Navneet Dhaliwal바카라™s batting lineup.
Next in their campaign, Oman will face the hosts United States of America on May 21. Meanwhile, Canada will take on the same rivals Oman on May 23.
