The Indian cricket team are among the most dominant in the tournament, having won two titles so far, a feat they share with Australia.
India first missed out on the title in the 2000 Champions Trophy final against New Zealand in Nairobi, where the Kiwis won by four wickets. However, they claimed their first title in 2002 when India and Sri Lanka were declared co-champions.
India clinched their second Champions Trophy title in 2013, defeating England by five runs in a thrilling final.
However, they fell short in 2017, losing to Pakistan by 180 runs. Now, India are back in the final, looking to avenge their 2000 defeat to New Zealand and the Test series whitewash the Kiwis handed them in 2024.
With seven different teams winning the Champions Trophy across its eight editions, the tournament's unpredictability and prestige only stand out further.
