Men's international cricket returns to the Gujarat city of Vadodara after a gap of more than 15 years as Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday released the schedule and venues for the home limited overs series between India and New Zealand.
The series, which will feature three ODIs and five T20Is, begins January 11, 2026 and wraps up on January 30.
The series will begin with an ODI in Vadodara, that now hosts games at the newly-built Kotambi Stadium. The stadium has hosted women's international matches but the men's top level cricket is set to return to the city for the first time since December 2010.
In that outing also India and New Zealand were the two teams up against each other and the Men In Blue had registered a victory thanks to a ton from Gautam Gambhir, who is the head coach of the team now.
Rajkot and Indore will host the other two ODIs while Nagpir, Raipur, Guwahati, Vishakhapatnam and Thiruvananthapuram will be the venues for the T20I series.
