Former Australian captain Aaron Finch was full of praise for Punjab Kings (PBKS) captain Shreyas Iyer ever since the batter made his move up north from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

Shreyas Iyer has been the catalyst in PBKS' rise in this season's IPL with the franchise currently occupying third spot in the IPL 2025 points table with seven victories.

Iyer had led KKR to the title last season and could do something similar this year with the Punjab Kings.

Speaking to Match Centre Live on JioHotstar, Finch praised Shreyas' leadership qualities.

"He바카라�s been fantastic 바카라� just as he was at KKR. Shreyas is a terrific young leader. Leaving a title-winning side would have hurt, but to carry forward that leadership success into a completely different setup shows his versatility.

Speaking of IPL 2025, PBKS are in Jaipur to take on already-eliminated Rajasthan Royals in match 59 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
