The defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, started their WPL 2025 campaign in dominant fashion, securing back-to-back wins--thrashing Gujarat Giants by 6 wickets and crushing Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets. However, Smriti Mandhana바카라�s side then hit a rough patch, suffering consecutive defeats--a 4-wicket loss to Mumbai Indians followed by a heartbreaking Super Over defeat against UP Warriorz.

Meanwhile, Gujarat Giants bounced back after their opening-game loss with a 6-wicket victory over UPW. But Ashleigh Gardner바카라�s team struggled to build momentum, enduring back-to-back defeats against Mumbai Indians (by 8 wickets) and Delhi Capitals (by 6 wickets).

But, Kanika Ahuja has taken charge since then. The left-hander has played some aggressive strokes, even clearing the ropes with a well-timed six, reaching 26 off 21 balls. With Raghvi Bist providing support, RCBW is rebuilding at 63/3 after 10.2 overs.

Kanika Ahuja looked solid in her innings, playing some confident strokes, including two sixes, before her adventurous attempt to go big ended in a brilliant caught-and-bowled dismissal by Tanuja Kanwar. She departs for 33 off 28 balls, leaving RCBW in a tricky spot.

Before Ahuja, Raghvi Bist was run out for 22 after a mix-up, following a dropped catch by Ashleigh Gardner.

Meanwhile, Richa Ghosh has looked positive since arriving at the crease, smashing a powerful six over long-on. Georgia Wareham is at the other end, trying to rebuild.

After losing Richa Ghosh to a brilliant yorker from Kashvee Gautam, Royal Challengers Bengaluru are struggling to find boundaries in the death overs. Georgia Wareham and Kim Garth are rotating the strike, but Gujarat Giants' disciplined bowling has kept them in check.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru struggled to get going, finishing at 125/7 in their 20 overs after losing their top three inside the powerplay.

This is RCB's lowest total. Actually a joint-lowest first inning total in the WPL with them posting 125/9 runs against MI at DY Patil in 2023. 

Georgia Wareham (20 off 21) and Kim Garth (14 off 15) tried to rebuild, but Gujarat Giants kept things tight with disciplined bowling, led by Kashvee Gautam and Tanuja Kanwar. Deandra Dottin provided crucial breakthroughs, including dismissing Kim Garth in the final over.

RCB managed just 34 runs in the last five overs, and with a below-par total on the board, their bowlers now have the tough task of defending it.

Mooney departs for 17 off 20 balls, handing RCB a crucial breakthrough.

Her aggressive stroke play has kept the Giants on track for victory with just 21 runs needed off 30 balls.

Ashleigh Gardner departs, but the job is nearly done for Gujarat Giants! The explosive batter smashed back-to-back sixes before chipping one straight back to Georgia Wareham, who held on in her follow-through. Gardner walks back for a well-made 58 off 31 balls, but with just 8 needed off 24 balls, the Giants are on the brink of sealing the win!

Phoebe Litchfield finishes it in style! After smashing a towering six over deep backward square leg, she takes a single off the next ball to level the scores. Kim Garth then delivers a short ball down leg, wided for height, sealing a dominant six-wicket win for Gujarat Giants.

Ash Gardner was the star of the chase, hammering a 31-ball 58 to put GGW in control. Despite her dismissal, the job was all but done.

RCBW바카라�s bowlers struggled to stop the run flow, and Gujarat chased down the 126-run target in just 16.3 overs.
