With the ball in hand, Chhattisgarh will need a much better performance to challenge Vidarbha.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi's explosive fifty guided Mumbai to a dominant 9-wicket victory over Arunachal Pradesh. Chasing a target of 77, Mumbai got off to a strong start, with Raghuvanshi remaining unbeaten on 50 from just 18 balls, showcasing an incredible strike rate of 277.78.

Ayush Mhatre contributed 15 runs before being dismissed, while Hardik Tamore (7) supported Raghuvanshi in the chase. With the target easily achieved in just 32.2 overs, Mumbai sealed the win with more than 40 overs to spare.

Gujarat won by 8 wickets against Assam, chasing down the target comfortably. Assam could only manage 76/4 in their first innings, with Aarya Desai (28) and Urvil Patel (37) being the standout performers. Gujarat then easily chased down the target, securing a dominant win with two wickets to spare.

Haryana post a strong total of 295/6 in their 50 overs, setting Jharkhand a challenging target of 296 runs. In response, Jharkhand are cautiously placed at 10/0 after 3 overs. Ishan Kishan (5* off 9) and Utkarsh Singh (2* off 8) are at the crease, looking to build a steady foundation for the chase.

Kerala's batting lineup struggled in their first innings, managing 152/9 in 27.2 overs. Shoun Roger led the scoring with a steady 39 off 37 balls, supported by Sharafuddeen N M's unbeaten 34 off 32.

Rohan S Kunnummal contributed 23, while Jalaj Saxena's quick-fire 19 off 7 balls gave the innings an initial boost. However, Sagar Solanki's four wickets and Kumar Kartikeya Singh's three wickets dismantled Kerala's batting order. Kerala will look to their bowlers to defend the modest total.

Puducherry beat Nagaland by 3 wickets!

Opting to field first, the Arun Karthik-led Puducherry restricted Nagaland to a modest 209/6 in 50 overs, thanks to a four-wicket haul by Sidak Gurvinder Singh. In the second innings, Puducherry successfully chased down the target in just 43 overs, finishing at 211/7 with the help of Aman Hakim Khan's 70 off 52 balls.

Due to rain, the Bengal vs. Tripura match was shortened to 25 overs. Asked to bat first, Tripura posted a competitive 201/7 in their allotted overs. However, with Bengal at 42/2 in 6.2 overs, rain interrupted play again, forcing the match to end with no result.

Karnataka Beat Punjab

Karnataka defeated Punjab by one wicket in their third-round match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25. Batting first, Punjab set a 248-run target for the southern state. In response, Karnataka captain Mayank Agarwal played an unbeaten knock of 139 runs off 127 balls to help his team win the match by just one wicket.

Saurashtra Beat Hyderabad

Saurashtra defeated Hyderabad by six wickets. Batting first, Hyderabad set a 245-run target for Saurashtra which they chased down in the 43rd over with six wickets to spare.

Odisha Beat Uttarakhand

Batting first, Odisha made 265/7 in 50 overs thanks to half-centurion knocks from Swastik Samal and Kartik Biswal. Uttarakhand could only manage to score 190 runs.

Haryana Beat Jharkhand

Haryana defeated Jharkhand by 64 runs in their third-round match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 on Thursday. Batting first, Haryana set a 296-run target for Jharkhand thanks to Sumit Kumar's late cameo. Dinesh Bana and Ankit Kumar also played half-centurion knocks. Jharkhand were bowled out for 231 runs.
